Hello!
Welcome to my blog, I’m Becca, a barista and lifestyle blogger based in Edinburgh, Scotland’s gorgeous capital. I originally moved here in 2017 for university, after growing up in Aberdeen, to study Music Technology for my undergraduate degree. Edinburgh is a city I’ve loved for years and I spent a lot of time exploring when I was a student. After graduating in 2021, I continued to do so but having a full time job makes it a wee bit harder. I love spending any time off hiding out in coffee shops and museums, of which there are plenty. It’s a great distraction from figuring out what I want to do with the rest of my life and having a constant existential crisis.
Here on my blog, I love to share my favourite spots of the city, primarily relating to caffeine. As I’ve been a barista for quite some time now, please consider these as professional opinions. I hope you’ll choose to stay a while and have a read, my latest posts are below. Please reach out for any and all things either through social media or the contact form below. You can also subscribe to ensure you never miss when I post. I look forward to meeting you!

Cinderella for a Weekend: My Stay at Claridge’s
Instead of a palace, picture a hotel room with a walk in wardrobe and balcony. In place of a carriage, a seat in first class on the train to King’s Cross. But I did have a ballgown, a beautiful dress from Sister Jane that I’d finally tracked down on Vinted. It was over too soon. Read more
